Every animal is family.
Every moment matters.
In 2022, I almost missed the photograph I needed most. My husband Stan and our dog Murphy were running on the beach at Martha's Vineyard — Stan laughing like a boy — and I didn't have my camera. I regretted it every day until the following September, when I finally got the shot. I turned it into a painting. Murphy passed away four months later at 15.
That painting hangs in our home. It isn't just a photograph. It's a way of keeping him here. That's why I do this work — and why I believe no one should have to live without it.
