Your new bundle is here. Your life is forever changed. You will not allow anything bad to touch them.
How do you keep them safe in the car? Is this the right car seat? Are the straps too tight? To loose? How do I know? The questions seem endless.
THERE IS AN ANSWER
CPST Child Passenger Safety Technician.
These individuals are trained and certified to evaluate car seats and they're usage to ensure that children are protected.
More than 2,600 children under 13 are involved in car accidents everyday more than half of all car seats are installed incorrectly.
When we have families come in for their newborn photo session we often see parents working so hard to ensure their child safety and comfort. These parents don’t know the best way to go about keeping their littles safe. We have often showed this video made by one of our Dads.
We are NOT CPST’s, but we have been blessed to work with them. In the video below we discussed with the father that a child’s 5 point restraint is designed like a helicopter pilot to keep the child protected, if upside down or stopped quickly.
Kristin H. I cannot thank the two of you enough for sharing this at our newborn session. Shaun and Sydney were in an accident yesterday, which flipped the vehicle upside down. Luckily, daddy was diligent in making sure his precious cargo was secure. This information was life saving and everyone was ok 💕 Please continue to spread the word. Thank you 🙏🏼
You wouldn’t assume safety for your children’s health in any other circumstance. Take the extra time and find a local CPST, you won’t regret it!
